Triaconta Weekly #163
The following topics will be addressed in this weekly.
- Bundles performance
- Winners & losers
- Market overview
Automatic revision of the Triaconta bundles ensures that bundles always contain the most popular cryptocurrencies for optimal performance. You can also do revision yourself with a manual revision of your bundle or, if you want maximum customization, by manually adjusting your bundle.
In the Top 30 we welcome Doge (DOGE) and Solana (SOL). Doge is the most talked about currency in recent months and Solana is a successful and scalable DeFi solution. We replace The Graph, whose success has been delayed for too long and Waves, which has recently shown a nice price increase but is certainly not as popular as these two new coins.
In the Penny Stock, Hedera Hashgraph is replaced by IOST due to enormous success. IOST disappeared from the Penny Stock in July 2020 and is now back. That can also happen. With their platform, IOST provides a unique solution for marketplaces in NFT and other internet products and services.
In the DeFi bundle we replace Ren by Terra (LUNA). Ren has become less popular and, after a significant price increase in 2021, will be replaced by Terra, who offer a very successful automatically stable currency linked to multiple fiat currencies. Trough their elastic money supply solution they are gaining popularity in the entire DeFi ecosystem.
We happily continue to climb in May. Are we afraid of heights yet? The most diversified Top30 bundle takes the most profit this week with a quadrupling Ethereum Classic. Luckily, if a single coin rises so dramatically, chances are it will be in our Top 30.

1 Month: 39.64% | 7D: 13.41% | 24H: -0.42%
Winners & losers
Ethereum Classic is up 300%. The reason seems to be a combination of social media attention and the rise of its more expensive brother Ethereum. Also not bad is the increase of some smaller coins outside our bundles such as Qtum (+ 125%) and OMG Network (+ 97%). The most popular currency on social media, Doge (+ 97%), has nearly doubled this week, as has EOS (+ 92%). There are losers this week. Polygon (-11%) finally corrected after last week’s price explosion. Furthermore, only Reserve Rights (-5%) and Enjin (-1%) were slightly negative this week.
Vitalik Buterin, the inventor of Ethereum, has become the youngest crypto billionaire at 27 years old and a wallet with 333,520 Ethereum. Vitalik started Ethereum when he was 18 years old and has seen the project grow into the most successful and best known currency after Bitcoin.
According to analysis by Glassnode, it was mainly the long-term holders of Bitcoin who bought extra in the past month. That’s good news for the future price because in Bitcoin’s history, it has always been these long-term holders who took their profits at the end of a rise. More and more Bitcoin owners are also holding their Bitcoin for longer. And then the situation arises that there is no longer enough Bitcoin available in the trade to meet the demand. Very good for the price, which then has to rise drastically to bring supply and demand back into balance.
High transaction costs, low transaction costs? Why not a blockchain with no transaction costs at all? Back in the Penny Stock is IOST. On April 20, 2021, the Center for Information and Industry Development (CCID), under China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, presented their comprehensive assessment and ranking of 37 well-known public blockchain projects in the world. IOST has successfully defended its title and continues to rank first in the basic technology sub-index, as well as being awarded the bronze medal in the overall rankings, outperforming major competitors such as TRON, Tezos and NEO blockchain. Since 2018, this Chinese research firm has published this list of rankings based on technology, applicability and creativity.
